Catherine is a partner at CMM Quay Legal Group having joined its predecessor firm in 2004. Cathy was admitted to practice in 1996. She worked for 15 years in medium to large law firms, for 8 of these years as a qualified solicitor.
Cathy is an exceptional property lawyer, acting in Torrens, strata, old system and company title transactions for commercial, residential or rural properties. Her experience spans sales and purchases, property subdivisions and development, off-the-plan transactions, mortgages, agreements to lease, licences and leases (both commercial and retail) to all property related issues, such as easements, restrictions on title, stamp duty and land tax.
Cathy also acts in the sales and purchases of businesses and in debt recovery matters, in particular the recovery of rent from defaulting tenants, provides commercial law advice, such as on privacy and spam laws, and assists clients in their personal legal matters.
